Andrew Banks
Age 40.  Army major.  Presently deployed in Afghanistan.
Joined FCC in 2009.
I was the Afghanistan Cricket Federation's first Development Officer in 2002/3 and the Afghan (and occasionally Iraq) correspondent for Wisden Cricketer's Almanac 2003 - 2009.
LHB and right arm [very occasional and now very slow] bowler.  Still fit, but with a poor arm, I am an enthusiastic fielder.
James Bird
James played regularly in 2006, bring a sense of purpose and good behaviour to the club.
Decided to travel before going to university, only seen occasionally since.
James Bristow
Will arrive at the meeting point just before the match starts, usually rushing around and full of 'beans'.

Daniel Brockhurst
36 years old, last plaed cricket at school (reasonable bowl, ok bat, hands covered in glue) before focusing on football (goal keeper) and Rugby (wing / outside centre).

Moved into Fernhurst about a year ago and ideally would like to get my eldest boy (12) into something and cricket would be good for him.

I want to get back into something too as have not been playing rugby or football for while either.

Maxwell Durrant
U10 application for 2016 season.
William Dyer
Hi, i'm Will, i'm 22 years old and live and work in Fernhurst. I work at MDC-Mtec as a machinist making parts for a wide variety of things. I've always been active and played many sports, mostly cricket but had to stop after college as i need to work weekends and pay for things. since moving to Fernhurst in October 2016, I've wanted to get back to playing cricket regularly again. hopefully i can do that with Fernhurst.

What Genes?
Ryan Lewis
Ryan has been knocking on the door as a batsman and bowler for a couple of year. A good clubman representing the younger players on the committee.
According to him, pretty much perfect.

Steve Melrose
A stalwart of the Sunday XI over the past 14 years. Fatherhood seems to have slowed him somewhat but the fire for cricket still burns brightly. A dry wit who can always be relied upon to have a word for the fielder that allows a run to be scored from his bowling!

Dan Newman
Played for a couple of years before heading off to university, now back in the area and made one appearance in 2008.
Tidy batsman and very good fielder.

Simon Ralfe
Aspiring all rounder with a bit of luck and a lot of nets practice!
Steve Tytler
Steve leads the club's efforts to raise money for its chosen charity, Mac Millan Cancer Care.
Gives 110% every game. Is a handsome man.
Rob Unwin
Returned to cricket after 15 years in 2013, can still bowl a bit but deffinitely STILL can't bat. Needs some serious work in the nets!!
Graham Vass
Both my sons, Ed & Ben are junior members. I "played" one match last year as a last minute "volunteer" for the first team , and hope to play a few matches for the Sunday team during the coming season.
Andy Whittington
Injuries have marred Andy's last 2 seasons. We hear that 2010 will be his comeback year (and 2014!)
